claycrusher
With the lack of hi cap mags available right now, I got to wondering if a STI 38 Super/9x21 magazine would work in a 9x19 pistol? Perhaps replace the follower.. I would think the may bodies themselves would be the same. Anyone tried?
yoshidaex
You may need a spacer so the 9mm round engages both front and rear ribs. There are some STI mags out there that don't need them. You might wanna try your mag without spacers first.
bassochist
it's exact the same magazine, but with an other follower and a spacer
gng4life
Some guys have claimed to load them long enough to not need the spacer, I think it was longer than 1.165 or so. I talked to one shooter who shot thousands of 9mm in an STI 38 mag and never had an issue so you may try it before going to buy a spacer and new follower... claycrusher
I just bought 3, so when they come in I'll give them a try. I see the replacement followers, but what are the spacers I might need?
yoshidaex
Joey hardy steel spacers or plastic spacers from Arredondo or STI
