Ed Robinson
So I'm cutting a Novak dovetail on a stainless Springfield 1911 and it is hard as hell. Running hss end mill to hog out before cutting the dovetail. Spindle speed 550, feeding slow and pouring the oil to it. I finally got it cut but thought I'd surely bust the end mill before I got thru. I do have a carbide dtail Cutter for the dtail. Any recommendations on the next one I come across from machinists who know more than I do ( which would be about all of them). Thanks, Ed
