Just some more information to add to the pile,

You really only need one sling, you will only be required to use one sling on any COF.

What time will things wrap-up on Saturday, July 13th?

I'm trying to figure out if I can drive to Portland afterward to hang out with friends, or if I should book a hotel for Saturday night and drive to Portland Sunday AM.

Thanks!

Ok, the stages are done and ready for consumption when I get time to put them on electrons. But just for a taste here is the ammo requirements:

Stage 1...

Rifle.....11

SG.......14

Pistol...12

Stage 2...

Rifle.....12

SG.......13

Pistol...14

Stage 3...Standards stage

Rifle.....18

SG........9

Pistol...18

Stage 4...

Rifle.....15

SG.......13

Pistol...19

Stage 5...

Rifle.....14

SG.........9

Pistol...19

Stage 6...

Rifle.....16

SG.......10

Pistol.....8

Stage 7...

Rifle.....14

SG.......14

Pistol...15

Stage 8...

Rifle.....11

SG.......18

Pistol...19

Stage 9...

Rifle.......7

SG.........8 slug only stage

Pistol.....5

For a total of

Rifle.....118

SG.......108...8 of which are slugs

Pistol...119

This round count is taking in account of 2 hits on each paper and one hit on all steel or clays. I am not counting shooters shooting my no shoot targets and missing!!!:)

As you see I have included all 3 guns on each stage so you better be happy!!!!

Shooting clays with the rifle because Doug wants to...no, not flying either...

R and R Targets http://randrtargets.com/site/ is supplying the Death Star to two stages this year as a way to just frustrate the hell out of us. One is with the Shotgun and one with the Pistol, and combined with 1 no shoot target.

That is it for now...

I do like the evenly balanced round count for this match,

and with stages that test both speed and accuracy for all 3 weapons , that is my idea of a true test of your multi-gun skill set.

Can't wait for this one to get here !

three questions:

1. Will we need a shotgun sling?

2. What's the longest rifle shot?

3. What is the largest shot size allowed for shotgun?

Found the answer to #3. Questions 1-2 still stand

sling needed for both long guns....though not at the same time.

Bring a sling for your shotgun, longest rifle shot will be 350 yards.

Doug

Cool. Does it matter is we sling our shotgun muzzle up or muzzle down? Not sure my tube will let me go muzzle down lol

Scott has the stages done but I haven't had time to get them on the computer. Hope by the end of next week they'll be up on the website.

It's not that important, but I summed the round counts and got 129 for pistol. Rifle and Shotgun totals were as stated.
