chowellacsbd
You really need to watch out when purchasing new Win-blows laptops/desktops, as they almost always partition the hard drives with the OS preinstalled and don't provide the actual dvd. chowellacsbd
I also recommend this site when you want something that'll last longer than 1 year
ctay
The trick to Windows 8 is the same trick that you would have to learn if you went to a mac or any other OS. You have to relearn where things are. One thing that significantly helped me was a free piece of software called "Classic Shell" http://classicshell.sourceforge.net/ It puts everything back to where it was under windows 7 or windows xp (depending on how you set it). Very very useful. I actually like quite a few of the new features of Windows 8 - just don't like the touch screen centered interface. Classic shell fixes that for the most part. Ray_Z
this should help This guy was right on. I'm no wiz bang when it comes to computers but this thing needs a real looking over. My openion is that windows 8 is like a window fan, one way it sucks and the other way it blows.
Front Man
8 should have never been sold without a touch screen. As far as Apple products go I tried an iPhone for a month and will never buy another Apple product; it was way to bossy.
Steve RA
Download 8.1 and just run it from "desktop". Makes it a little better, although I haven't completely figured it out by a long shot.
pkm
I am surprised EzWinScore will even run on Windows 8. Windows 7 is still going to be supported for another 6 or 7 years, no reason to switch to Windows 8. Buy yourself an OEM license of Win7 Pro off of NewEgg and you will be much better off. -Price
wgnoyes
They went through an update process some years back with ezws to ensure it would run on the more modern versions of windows. Hence the reason it won't run on win95/98 anymore.
