glock22 w slide reduction vs. glock35

I a looking into converting my G22 into a limited/limited10 gun. I was thinkin about sending it to zev to get the slide lightened. But I was also thinking about just purchasing a G35. Any thoughts/opinions??

+1 Throw in a steel or tungsten guide rod a Wolff 15lb recoil spring, trigger job, new sights and have at it.

Or, you could always get a OEM or aftermarket G35 slide for your 22 and save a bit of dough.

Heck, you can even buy a slide that's already cut up.

Personally, I would shoot the 22 or 35 as is with some minor part changes.

I have a Glock 22 with a lightened lone wolf slide and love it. Shoots great.

I have no idea why you'd lighten a g22 slide, other than looks.

A G35 would be a good choice. After putting on decent sights and slapping on a magwell then you have a competitive Limited gun. Take off the magwell then you can play in Production shooting minor pf.

A 6" slide and barrel on a G22 lower would be great too....

I'm with flex, don't worry about lightening an already light weight slide.

Don't alter the slide. You can shoot it as is or get a G35 if you want the longer slide. Or, you can get a G35 slide and barrel and just swap the top end.
