EricW
A Proclamation from the King Dear Kingdom of Siam Managerial Level Toad, Your King grows weary of timewaster meetings. For future reference, a meeting is NOT required for: Passing Out Forms - Use email! Giving Status Reports - Email! Diatribes that serve only as a monument to your ego. Chut up! Your ridiculous excuses of why you can't do your job (on time and/or competently - Please Quit Now!) Discussions among 25 people that only concern two - Do it on your own time! From this moment henceforth, no meeting will be allowed to be held without assigninig a value based upon the cumulative hourly wages of the attendees plus an appropriate administrative fee - payable to his Royal Majesty. If the King deems your meeting unworthy, it's cost shall be promptly deducted from your salary. And no, the King is not bothered by the implications of your indentured servitude to him for the remainder of eternity. It is predicted that the number of meetings held in the Kingdom will drop by 98.9%. Regards, Your King ================================================== I've just lost count of the brain-dead, $5000 time-kill-a-thons I've had to attend. Let me work, then let me leave. rhino
Don't forget: All meetings lasting longer than 15 minutes will require all attendees to stand from the 15 minute point until the meeting is adjourned.
kimel
Hmmm....so I would need to work for the rest of September to get back to zero just for the meetings I was in today. But only one of them was a total waste of time. The others were rather entertaining. But now I need to "dial in" to my office an telecommute for a couple hours to "do my real job".
