SherlockWV
Looking for suggestion on holster & mag pouches for a XD tactical. RIID has provided me with some via Safari Land but I thought there might be more. Are the 92 Bretta & XD .40 Mags the same? I received a "Low Boy" hoslter with the gun but do not like it as my left thumb hits when trying to grip the gun and clear it from the holster. Any suggestions appriciated. shred
Beretta mags are 'close'. You need the front-notch added and the 9mm ones I have are a little too long. Either might get you a scolding from Vince if you tried to use them in Production.
SherlockWV
Shred - Sorry for the confusion. I was only referencing the Bretta Mags as a "size" comparison to the XD Mags so that I can get Mag Pouches. Plan on using strictly XD mags. On another note, I had read on a thread here that the .40 XD mags would hold 15 ea. 9mm rounds and it was legal since the Mags had not been altered. Well, I tried it and it works! Thanks. SherlockWV
Steve - where do you find the Comp Tac gear & do you know if they make stuff for the XD? Also, I spoke with C. Rayner yesterday and I understand that she has "your gear" & getting ready to ship. Good & Safe Shooting - JC -

Vlad
If you have the cen-dex Lo-boy, you may also want to take a look at their Storm which is the higher version of the same. Vlad
MikeyG23
CompTac does gear for XD's. My sergeant and another guy I shoot with have XD's and use their gear.
benos
I've sold a couple Safariland 560's to XD owner's, who were very happy with them. brian
Tangram
I have have two comp-tac locking paddle holsters one for XD-9 and a 1911. Very pleased with them, as the locking feature helps keeps them in place. The three adjustment screws can be set to securely hold the weapon. P.E. Kelley
May I suggest Blade Tech as a source of excellent holsters and mag pouches for the XD. I own both and am very happy with my choice. I imagine would be too. PK
SherlockWV
PE- I tried to buy Blade Tech when I started shooting last Aug. 03. I left messages etc. and no one got back to me. I know people who use the equipment and like it a lot. Good & Safe Shooting - JC -
