deedlebag
My name is Matt. I am from Spring, TX, currently living in College Station, TX going to school. I have been shooting guns/hunting since I was 11 or so and recently I started to collect handguns. I have been looking at trying to move in to competing in competitions with pistols and over time I want to move in to 3 gun competitions. I can hold my own with an AR and a Shotgun, the pistol is the only part where I am lacking. I was turned on to this site from my Uncle who has been competing for years and said I should come here to find most of the answers I am looking for. I am excited and looking forward to learning a lot and contributing along the way.

Langenator
Howdy! If you're at A&M, we have a 3-gun club/team (OK, the team part is a work in progress, the whole thing just got started this year) on campus. Look up "Aggie 3 Gunners" on FB. They've got a tamu.edu student organization page as well, but the URL eludes me at the moment. And there's a local club south of town (ccc3g.com) that puts on very challenging monthly matches. Aggieddad02
HOWDY Matt and welcome to the forums. You need to get in touch with Aaron at Champion Firearms, he is actively involved with the local match scene which I believe does include 3 gun matches. You will love this forum so many topics and so much information from its members. And by the way, bsdubois00 is my son and he has a brother that is an Aggie '02. Best of luck

Ill check out the Aggie 3 Gunners page. Sounds like something that I am very interested. I don't have that much knowledge on 3 gun yet but having people to help me along would go a long way. Thanks. silverphoenix
Welcome to the forum! Definitely check out A3G at a3g.tamu.edu We can get you fully set up to start shooting 3-gun competitions with gear, training, and firearm accessories. Plus we have a large support base of guys who will loan you anything you need, or let you try out gear, optics, and firearms before you go out and buy them. An aggie really can't afford not to be a member of A3G.
