Heinie Classic sight

anyone uses Heinie Classic rear sight on their Glock? I mainly shoot 1911 with Bomar style rear sight (.112" rear notch) with .100" front sight. I prefer this combination and would like to mimic that with my Glock. so far I am thinking Heinie Classic rear (.119 notch) and dawson .105" front. I have had a Sevigny sights on my G35 and not fund of the wide rear notch so this is not an option. any input is appreciated

I have a Heinie Classic on my G34 but it is .125" not .119". I have it paired with an Ameriglo .090" plain black front.

thats odd. Heinie's website does not really specify the dimensions but I got it from here http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=6868/avs%7CMake_3=Glock/Product/REAR-SIGHT-FOR-GLOCK-reg-. I was under the impression that the Classics has the .119 notch while the slant pros have the .125".

I'd say the Dawson adjustable rear provides about the same sight picture as a Bo-Mar. Have you looked at that?

See my post here:

I have looked at that sight. I would prefer a shorter front sight than what it uses.
