Somebody please help me with a couple of questions

1. After make ready command, competitor racks slide and empty brass falls out: what is the penalty if any

2. After make ready, shooter loads and holsters but muzzle crosses shooters weak hand and strong side leg, is it DQ for what reason

Need rule #'s also

Download the PDF and use the search feature. It makes taking the exam a breeze.

You could do that but it sounds like you might be better off pulling out the book itself.

I use exam time to brush up on the book.

And unless you carry a laptop in your shooting bag, you need to be able to search out those rules in the middle of a match.

(p.s. In my truck at major matches you will find a laptop with the rules book on the hard drive.)

Brass and Muzzle will answer all of your questions.

Brass did nothing for me. Empty case got me closer to the truth. But I must admit question 1 takes some effort.

You are right. I was not thinking about that part, or maybe I was subconsciously just trying to challenge him further.

I had that question on my exam and it took me a minute to find the rule. It helps when you use the right search terms.

It is one of the better questions on the exam in my opinion because you know the right call, but it forces you to think about the applicable rules to site so that it cannot be overturned in arbitration.

I have it downloaded to my razr maxx and a widget on the home screen, so it's at my fingertips.

I love having it on my phone. It's settled many heated debates that just get ramped up when someone goes for the rulebook in their bag. It's inconspicuous to be "playing" on your phone while others argue and then you magically have a rule to cite. It's fun to see how quiet some people get when you read a rule verbatim to solve a dispute.
