Huge thanks to Rampart Range in Pocahontas, IL for donating a bad ass new COR15 M4 for our November match !!!

We'll be giving the rifle to one lucky shooter complete with AP Customs' new rifle length tactical  carbon fiber hand guard :)

Nice going Jeremy!

Here's a picture I pulled from the net, of course it doesn't have the AP Customs c/f gaurd yet.

That Core15 M4 looks great! Will it be awarded to the 1st place shooter in the match, or in a drawing of some sort?

Wish I had my guns, sent the shotgun off to get some work done and the rifle is waiting on an optic. If only money grew on trees I'd be able to afford said optic now lol

Don't let a little thing like not having guns hold you back...if you show up we'll make sure you have guns to shoot! :)

The gun winner will be chosen by random draw, but we also have several big boxes of prizes from our sponsors that will be distributed by both random draw and order of finish along with some pretty cool awards for high shooters in each division...

Huge thanks to all our sponsors for everything they have sent for the match!!!

I'm still trying to figure out where the longer rifle stages will be be. I can NOT find a rifle range on the Google map.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=101695290727397104311.00045e6974518c3efe97a&ll=38.196775,-89.730148&spn=0.067184,0.109863&t=h&z=13

You'll just need to show up on the 10th to find out :)

Oh, I plan to be there. I'll be the guy lobbing my PCC carbine 9mm rounds in like mortar fire for the 200 yard shots.

What a hoot, this'll be fun. :roflol:

FYI, I plan to win the AR15 at the raffle so I can shoot a "Big Boy" gun at the next 3-gun match.

I'll be there for sure!

From the MO side, I think we have Steve, Laszlo, Tim, Brian, Rob, Frank, Tom and Zack... I spoke to Greg earlier this week, though he's from the IL side, he may make it as well if he can figure out what to do with the kids.

I'll try to mention it at our ARPC club meeting on Thurs as well.

Very pleased to see 3-gun growing in the local area.

The G3G practical shotgun match was a great time, can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us!

Started setting up stages today, looks like this is going to be a great venue. Weather is supposed to be perfect, so this thing should be a really good time!

Aaron, Jeremy, and Mose put together a great match!

The range complex where this match was held is nicer than any other I've ever seen.

Great stages, lots of fun to shoot. I look forward to seeing any video that was taken.

A special thanks to squad two's RO's: Joe and his son Devin, for getting us through this match.

It was a LONG day but well worth it.

Had a good time, even tho' I shot horribly slowly. Some fun things on the stages - the shell game, the cars and trucks, the 20-round mag limit on the one stage. Really a great effort for a first time match. The restaurant at the range is great! Stuck around and had dinner Sat. evening. We solved most of the 3-Gun world's problems by the time we were done. Scoring on tablets seemed to work well. Nice job Aaron and Jeremy

Aaron and Jeremy, WELL DONE!! I loved the match. Had a blast. Though Greg didn't get my run on the rifle stage in this one (and I really liked my run there... darn it), here's the vid I got of my run.. I'm still working on more video from other shooters on our squad.

I had a great time. Stages were fun and well thought out. The shell game stage was a nice touch. Scoring on the kindles worked great. The facility is outstanding and has tremendous potential for the future. Especially considering this was a first effort, it was a great match. I'll be back.

A great group of shooters showed up and shot really well! We had all skill levels represented from our overall match winner Rustin Bernskoetter to several brand new shooters. We had folks make the drive in from Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, Kansas, Indiana, Texas, Missouri, and all over Illinois.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip out. Giving shooters quality matches is what this is all about and I hope we were able to do that. Special thanks to all our sponsors, AP Industries, The Korte Company, Brownells, Rampart Range, The Shooters Source, BoomerShooter, Nordic, and MGM!

Thanks again to all those that helped set up and the RO's that volunteered their time to help run the match. We know we asked a lot of you guys especially when you add in trying to learn new scoring software. All of your efforts are much appreciated!

Sorry Joe, I corrected my mistake. When I was writing that post I couldn't remember your son's name. I thought it was "trunk monkey" or Aaron. My buddies in the room at the time, Bacardi and Coke, convinced me to go with Austin. LOL

That's a fine young man you have there, I'm sure you're proud of him.

I hope to shoot with you two again in the near future.
