sig2009
Has anyone purchased one of these Sarsilmaz K2's yet? I have been reading some great things about this gun imported by EAA. http://www.sarsilmaz.com.tr/en#panel-
Maksim
Has nothing to do with Tanfoglio. =) I did play with this gun at Shot Show 2011 and did find it well built and fantastic deal for a high cap 45.
shabodah
Actually, that is not true. Sarsilmaz used to purchase parts from Tanfo to make their own clones. Then they got into some argument, and decided to make their own facilities. The K2 is their own redesign on the witness, much like the Witness is Tanfo's redesign on the CZ. To say they have nothing to do with each other would be similiar to saying the Taurus PT92 has nothing to do with the Beretta 92.

Mo Hepworth
crazy...those look actually pretty nice. I wonder what parts are useable in tanfoglios, EAA and also HK's! A few of the pistols look like HK USP's with side grips.wild.
Maksim
SAR had 2 lines, the other was a straight Sig 226 copy. EAA is only importing the 45 acp, however at shot show, the 9mm was pretty nice. During media day, tried shooting a few others, but the reps were very stingy with ammo, 4 rounds and that is it, and they would take the gun away from you. Some of the other guns they made.... pure gaudy.
sig2009
I'll have to check them out at Shot Show.
shabodah
I don't have a Sar in my hand yet, but from the pictures, it appears to me as though the top ends are very similiar in dimensions to the Tanfos, but the frame width looks to match the Para's with the 14 capacity. I'm not sure I like that wide of a frame.
