jetdriver71
Getting a new SV single stack with a 5"AET barrel. Just need some ideas for a new load? SV recommends using N320,but sometimes that can be hard to come by so looking for something similar. Thanks y'all. Oh yes!!! Can't wait!
Scott L
Congrats on the new pistol! I've been looking at a lot of 9mm load data posted here lately and it seems that Titegroup and Win 231 require about the same charge weight as N320 to produce similar velocities. That said, I have not used N320, but from what I've read it seems to fill the case better than TG or 231. A popular load for Titegroup is 4.0gr with small pistol primers, 124 jacketed bullets and an OAL between 1.100" and 1.150" depending on the gun. Checkout this thread for a lot of different load ideas. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89264
MarkCO
I've been using 147 Zeros over 3.3 grains of E3. Really like this load. Trying the Hornady 125 HAP bullets now over E3. In 10 stages, the RO had to break out the overlay 4 times to confirm doubles. I did not measure my last 25 yard group, but it was basically a 5 leaf clover. I use the load in my AR, using small rifle primers. Haven't chrono'd it yet but I suspect it will run over 1300 fps, through a 16" barrel.
