Max It
I recently bought a CZ75B SA, and shot it at a Steel Match; now our steel matches are loose, we have 6 berms and 26 steel targets each, sort of, always arranged diff. Its Tactical but not full of rules, stay safe is mostly it. Maybe it's IDPA or some such So I got this new gun, and it has a creeepy trigger. My gunny will take it out and I will get him a competition hammer so he doesnt have to stone or file it down. But how far can I go and still consider it 'stock' or 'factory' for the classifications? We have three; stock, limited, and open. Much obliged, Max
Merlin Orr
Max it sounds like it is a "local rules" club has it's own particulars.... Perhaps the club management is the place to go for clarification on your questions....? Whatever the rules turn out to be - sounds fun....
Hi-Power Jack
Max, usually anybody allows a trigger job, and the gun is still "stock" - goes for sights as well. Limited is usually more rounds in mag - Have a blast.
CHARLES D
Max Come out to Norco (JV Dynamics.com) and shoot USPSA. Just down the road from you. There are a few folks out there that shoot the CZ. Talk to them and you'll get an idea what they run.
yoshidaex
Max, You must be referring to SSA Steel Madness out at Raahaugees. Stock is similar to USPSA Production rules. 10 rounds (though I have seen fully loaded extended mags being used...) no dot optics, no compensators. Internally, you're free to do whatever you want as long as the gun is in a safe working condition. Limited allows anything except no comp or dot optics. Open pretty much sums it up. Run what ya brung. They also have a 22 division, shotgun and revo.
Max It
Guys, Yes that is it. And I do shoot at Raahagues, and it is fun. And I will try USPSA one of these days; that's the one with JJ in charge, right?
