Garyg19
Really like it, don't love it yet. Doubt I'll ever sell it. Wish I could get adj sights for it. I haven't put many rounds through it yet (500ish), but plan on competing with it in about a month.
roostershooter
It's all about taste. Are they great guns ... not really. Are they ok, entry level, affordable guns .... sure. I owned one when all of the SR1911 hype hit, and ended up trading it off after 800 rds. to a buddy for an AR upper that I wanted. Nothing to write home about, but it is a decent 1911. Will you win best accuracy with the pistol .... nope! Of course, this is coming from someone who is spoiled on Kimber Gold Match and Dan Wesson Valor pistols. My advice ... if you want a 1911 then put your money in a piggy bank, and save for a really nice 1911. You won't regret it. DWFAN
My buddy has one. Sights suck for our game, the internals are typical MIM, trigger parts need replaced to get a really good trigger. It also had to go back to Ruger because the chamber was short. Slide to frame fit is somewhat acceptable for a pistol in this price range. The pro's? It runs, and seems fairly accurate. I'd save for something that came with better sights and had a checkered front strap. Especially if you want to shoot competition with it.
Merlin Orr
I have one. Looks OK. Fit and finish is OK...... IMO, My Spartan is definitely a better gun for less money. Again...Not trying to piss off the Ruger fan boys....Just My Opinion.....
