sinclair
Hi folks, when I moved the handle downwards the mainshaft always blocked a little bit. I mean the big cylinder under the platform What should I do ?
GR8GIFT
Maybe check the set screw for the shell plate lockdown bolt. It's on the left side of the main shaft. Edited September 30, 2012 by GR8GIFT
Sarge
I agree. The set screw is probably backed out. It never ceases to amaze me that this is so common.

NoSteel
Has the ram traveled up at all or does it stick from the start? Does it do it without brass on the plate?
mlmiller1
Two other possibilities I can think of. Used primers not dropping, blocking the forward motion, makes it feel like the shaft is stuck. Shell plate not advancing properly blocking the primer punch, again making you think shaft is locked up. Both easy enough to fix. MLM
major9
How far can you move the handle down? Could the shell be hitting the sizer or powder funnel? Junk in shellplate groove preventing shell from fully seating. Can you advance the primer feed manually? Primer disk to shaft not lubricated. Primer ram not fully retracted and sticking in the primer disk. Shellplate indexes on the handle upstroke.
