eric nielsen
Chris You did well, considering only 6 out of 38 shooters got thru this without a penalty. If you want a C card, just call USPSA if any of your next 3 classifiers are bad. Explain it to them [malfunction, dropped magazine, sights fell off the gun, whatever] and they will hold off until you have 4 scores that you are okay with. A 0% that has nothing to do with shooting skill is pretty common for new shooters and they understand this. FWIW I shot Open, 6 points down in 16.34, hit factor 6.9767. Should be 95.3% nationally. I haven't practiced with live ammo in about a month so that felt good. I might practice once & go to the 6-classifier deal this Sunday.
bigj45
I shot this today as my first open classifier. I had 116 points with a combined time of 19.04 seconds.
Slabbie Shooter
I shot this bitch last week in Orlando. 92 Pts with 40 Penalty points. Time was 40.16 with a Hit Factor of 1.2948 Single Stack.
mgood
Shot this today with Lea County Action Shooters in Hobbs, NM. Production Unclassified (I'm D class in Single Stack.) Still shooting factory .40 but being scored minor due to Production rules. 14 A 8 B 2 C (That sounds wrong, like it should be 8 C and 2 B. But that's what I have written down, and it works out the same.) 0 M 0 NS 100 points 39.35 seconds for the slowest time posted in this thread (as usual). 2.5413 Hit Factor 43.0000% according to classifiercalc.com. This is my first C class score. May not sound like much of an accomplishment, but I've been shooting this stuff for nearly a year and all the rest of my scores are D class (after thinking I was a pretty good shot when I started). mgood
Today I went to the West Texas Practical Shooters match in Levelland, TX. They had the same classifier I shot two weeks ago in Hobbs. So I shot Limited 10 to get a classifier in another division. I'm Unclassified in L10. Shot the same Smith & Wesson Sigma SW40F I use in Production, but scored Major. I stunk it up this time. I was shaking, bad, when I shot weak hand only. Don't know why, too excited or something, I guess. 10 A 2 B 6 C 3 D 3 M 1 NS 85-40=45 points 38.36 seconds 1.1731 Hit Factor 16.8718% according to classifiercalc.com. EDIT: Got the match results. I messed up figuring my score somehow. (edit the edit: I see. I counted Deltas as one point instead of two, lol.) Didn't make a big difference, but: 88 points - 40 penalty points = 48 points divided by 38.36 seconds 1.2513 Hit Factor 17.9965% according to classifiercalc.com. colt22man
We shot this classifier at our special classifer match. 45 competitors, we had 58 mikes and 41 no shoots. Penalties nearly outscored points. Low score had to buy the first pizza, everyone tried to pay at the same time.
Bsbllrooster
Shot this one last week. Its definitely a tough classifier. I slowed waaaaay down on the S/H W/H portions of it. Ended up with all my hits and no penalties. HF of 5.4354. Should be good for around 78%. Don't ever wanna shoot this one again.

eric nielsen
My first & so far only Production classifier. 108 in 19.91 (which felt slow) and HF 5.4244. Borrowed XDm 5.25 with a beautiful 34-ounce trigger done by Scott Springer.
rowdyb
5.22 hf in production today. Definitely one of the harder classifiers I've shot. Seems the ones that include strong and weak hand coupled with reloading and moving are the ones that really get most people. Classifier calc says that will be a 88%...... GunBugBit
Have NEVER SHOT this classifier, have only dry-fired it. Will live-fire practice it this coming weekend. I know if we ever see it at our local matches, the grumbling will be non-stop.
