VinnyD
hi everyone ive been looking and looking the www for a 180 gr load specific to the CZ 75 TS .40 SW. i just picked it up and she handles like a dream. however i am a newer shooter in USPSA and am looking if anyone has loaded anything for this gun specifically. i want 170 PF obviously. i dont have a lot of time to chrono a bunch of loads. however i do have all the equipment. im looking for something real close that i can taylor quickly. i like BERRY'S bullets, probably for the price point. i am open to any suggestions that you guys have though. i am new to reloading i have a dillon 550 and had success loading 9mm and 45 so far. thanks in advance. Neomet
Personally I am not a fan of plated bullets. I really like Bayou 180 grain bullets being pushed by Solo 1K or N320. With Solo I would start around 4.4 or 4.5 and with 320 4.1-4.3. Drag out the chrono and adjust as needed. For jacketed I like MG 180s with N320. Start around 4.4 or 4.5. I have enough trouble making PF with my newer jugs of Solo 1K and jacketed bullets that I just go to the N320. Some folks have trouble feeding TSs JHP rounds. I don't, but like I said, others have. Load to 1.125-1.135 as the CZs are short chambered. Enjoy!!
ohsevenflhx
I shoot a CZ TS 40 also. 180gr Bayou 5.5gr WSF 1.132 OAl WSP primer 168 to 169pf consistently out of TS 165gr Zero 6.4 WSF 1.132 OAL WSP primer 169 to 170pf I have several other loads chrono'd with diff powders and bullets also. I like the WSF for major in the TS because of the short OAL. The pressures can get high with faster powders. I had a hard time getting Solo 1000/165 Zero to reach major. gmg
It's gonna be real hard to beat the Bayou Bullets and N320 combo. That's probably you best choice. I am also using N320 and Bayou Bullets out of my shadow. Real soon I will be using them for CZ TS .40cal that i am waiting on.

redbird1976
For cast 180 gr bullets, I use 6.0 grains of Longshot loaded out to 1.125" This load gives me a 171-2 PF depending on the weather.

Shawneeboy87
I use Titegroup with the 185 grain Precision bullets -- My load is: 4.3 gr of Titegroup @ 1.125 OAL. What I've found though and I have videos as evidence lol Titegroup is EXTREMELY SMOKEY with poly coated bullets. I used to utilize 180 ZEROs (JHP) and never had a problem with the smokey load. But now it looks like I'm shooting a musket. I'm working with some fellow shooters to change my powder.
