DWG007
I am having trouble installing new Limcat brass +1 basepads on my 140mm .40cal STI tubes ( I am using Gram spring/follower). Gram's basepads fit fine. Is there some trick to getting these to fit ??- the flared bottom of the mag tube goes only halfway into the brass basepad and no further, so the hinged side will not close without crushing the flared tube bottom. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
roby
you might have to file down the lips off the bottom. take a lil off each side and see if they sit lower. i believe sv tubes and dawson pads require the same.
.40AET
Call Limcat, I would be sure that they could give you the outside dimensions for the magazine in order for the basepad to fit.
davidwiz
The lip on the mag probably needs to be filed down as roby suggests - but be careful not to take too much material off, or the base pad won't stay on the mag. (Don't ask me how I know).
