Trigger binds up, but overtravel screw is out

I have an open SII that the trigger binds up on. It felt like the overtravel screw was set too far, so I backed it out til it was only in by a thread or two. It feels fine with no mags inserted. With one STI mag, the trigger works fine. With another, the trigger binds unless I pull the trigger at the bottom of the trigger guard. The last mag, it feels like the trigger pull goes up a pound or two but does work. I have 7 old style SV mags. They all stick very hard when locked in, do not drop free, and bind the trigger completely. Do I need a new grip, trigger, or both? Anyone else experience this?

Tried that first, backed the top grip screws a turn each. I'm going to completely tear it apart. It is definitely dragging on the trigger bow. Hope it's just the trigger, they are cheaper than a new grip..

Took it apart today. There were two problems. The mag catch was out of spec, keeping the mags from dropping free. I replaced it with a spare, and thought I fixed it. Trigger still wouldn't drop the hammer with a mag inserted. I pulled the cmore off so I could get a look down inside the frame, and could see where the mag is binding on the trigger. Where the bow bends around the front corners of the mag tube, the bends are not square, and the bow protrudes into the magwell of the frame, dragging on the corners of the tube. Tomorrow when I have more time, I will strip the frame down and see if I can make those corners more square. Explains why my STI tubes work and the SV's don't. The SV's have more rounded corners, and the STI's are square. If I can't work this trigger out, I guess I will get the SV ITS.
