Greenmonster
Hello to all, my name is Mark. I am 34 and have been shooting all my life. What started out with a sling-shot progressed into an obsession with anything that flung a projectile. Daisy BB guns lead to CO2 powered pistols right into over-pumping pellet guns. I have an absolute passion for archery that I still entertain today as soon as the weather turns cold. Later I was carried into sporting clays, then quail hunting, then right into high powered rifles with the hopes of emulation Jack O'Conner. That started my hand at reloading rifle ammunition about 4 years ago. Having more than tested the ballistic limits of my favorite rifle cartridge, the .270 win, i am now hopelessly addicted to practical pistol shooting. I am trying to frequent Tuesday Night Steel at Rio Solado but the summer heat is limiting my attendance. I plan on joining USPSA and getting to the classifiers soon. I am starting out in single stack but am drawn more and more to Open class.... baby steps for now, but I'm excited to learn how to truly "run" a gun! Thank you Brian for an amazing book, and for this great forum! Edited August 28, 2012 by Greenmonster

I would recommend at least 10 steel matches of that kind before competing in USPSA.
