JoseyWalesX
I am currently loading 147gr molys with 3.7gr of N340 but am thinking of trying some of the Extreme plated bullets. Will the performance roughly remain the same if I stay with the 3.7gr of N340?
Jonathan Taliani
Usually moly and plated bullets suggest using lead data. To be safe, it's always advisable to rework your loads starting from the listed starting load.
sroe3
I agree, re-work your load. You can probably start with your moly load and work up. I have to load three tenths hotter for my plated (Rainier) compared to moly (BC) with 124-127 grain bullet. Note, Rainier's are 124, BC moly 126.
