lawboy
I am trying to install an long extension on an 18-round magazine but I am not understanding how to get it all together in such a way as to allow for taking it down again. The little nub on the retaining plate attached to the magazine does not line up with the hole in the bottom of the extension. Also, what is the little piece of 90-degree sheet metal for that comes with the extension? HELP!
carharttfarmer
The 90 goes in the bottom it keeps the extension from sliding off to remove you pull up on it Edited August 23, 2012 by carharttfarmer
lawboy
The 90 goes in the bottom it keeps the extension from sliding off to remove you pull up on it I don't get it. Pull up on it? Up as in towards the top of the magazine? The 90-degree piece has a short leg and a long leg. What are are the proper orientations of the legs and does the entire piece go inside the magazine or does part of it extend outside the magazine? I am using a Meg-Gar 17-round magazine tube. Does that make any difference? I am feeling like an idiot here but I do not get it!
