Huck-LEI
I just worked up a new load with Berry's 180s and 5 grains of Universal for my M&P 40 Pro. I chrono'd it today and got a 5 shot average of 949.4 fps. That should put me at 170.89 pf. I plan on using this load for Nationals. Any thoughts? blaster113
if the load feels good to you and is accurate in your gun then go for it. I burned through an 8lb keg of Universal loading for my .40 STIs. Didnt care for the recoil impulse but the powder is clean burning and the loads were amongst the most accurate I've brewed. YMMV
Justsomeguy
I too have tried Universal and Berry's. It is accurate, but like Blaster, I found the recoil impulse a bit sharper than my accustomed load of 5.8grns of Silhouette. Still... shoot what YOU like. The gun will certainly run well on the Universal. I did like the way it metered in my XL650 as well.
