38SuperDub
I was picking up a few hard drives from New Egg and saw this - Not sure of the brand or anything but hell at $40 it could make a VERY reasonable tablet for Practiscore http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16858405005&cm_sp=Specials-_-58-405-005-_-08212012_1
wgnoyes
Android 2.2? That's pretty far back leveled. Have to make sure PS would run on that level set. Plus looking at the specs, 3hr battery life is pretty substandard. Edited August 21, 2012 by wgnoyes
Too_Slow
Bill, Practiscore runs on Andriod 2.1 or later versions. Brian
wgnoyes
Okay. 3 hr battery duration is pretty bad, though. And these are refurbs.
Kevin Pledger
Come across this which looks okay on the specifications. But its not waterproof as such, but has been tested outside and windy dusty conditions. I know of some people using these on construction sites where its dusty seem to have no problems, either with overheating and battery life is what the manufacturer says 6 - 9 hours. Overview. ICONIC Tablet 7" 7" Multi-touch Capacitive Display Unlike most lower-priced tablets, the ICONIC tablet has a multi-touch capacitive display. A capacitive screen has much better responsiveness than the cheaper resistive type and is the type found in iPad 2 and Samsung Galaxy. Flash 11, Android Market, and Skype The ICONIC tablet is supplied with Android Market so you can easily access and download additional apps in addition to our 50 pre-selected, pre-installed apps. It is also fully compatible with Flash 11, giving you access to all the videos running on flash. Graham Smith
The big question is going to be how well the screen does in bright light. That has been the killer for a lot of devices so far.
38SuperDub
Yea 3 hours is weak but for $40 you can purchase a USB battery. Just saw the price figure may be worth a shot.
