sig2009
If you have a Dremel and a small Dremel wire wheel you can polish the barrel ramp yourself.
Jonathan Taliani
What polishing are you referring to? People polish the feedramp and breach face edge to aid in feeding, fire controls to gain a smooter trigger, etc. All of it, when done properly, has a benefit. If you try your hand at the task, remember to just polish and not remove metal.

CeeZer
Think of every surface that rubs against another one (surface) while the gun is in its normal cycling/firing process. Logical thinking? Mechanical skills? Common sense? In responce to #2 Sig2009 - DO NOT USE WIRE WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take your time, use felt wheel and polishing paste, and ... TAKE YOUR time!! Feed ramp WILL get 'dinged' overtime, more polishing may be desired. I did feed ramp polish on my Shadow, with about 50K rounds thru it, only 2 times. Vincerama
I thought the point of the "shadow" versions (aside from missing FPB safety) was that they were factory tuned? I could be wrong, but being in CA, we don't get to buy Shadows anyway.
Jonathan Taliani
The Shadow Custom is tuned, but the Shadow is a stock pistol with a variety of upgrades. (Extended magazine release, better sights, no FPB, 85 New Style Trigger, etc)
