JoseyWalesX
I currently load 3.7gr. of N340 under 147 Precision black bullets for my M&P. I am pleased with the load but was thinking of trying some SOLO 1000 due to the lower cost. How does the SOLO compare to the N340 when paired with the Precisions? Merlin Orr
Never tried the 147s with 340 but the 147s with Solo 1000 is the nicest load for a 9mm I have ever shot.
GForceLizard
Solo 1000 works great with 147gr Precision Bullets. 3.4-3.6gr at 1.135" is what works for me. Solo 1000 speed has been know to vary from lot to lot. It also gets slower in the heat. You need to retest when you buy another jug. Don't assume that your chrono results from 40 degrees will match when you are shooting in 100 degree temperatures.
Scootertheshooter
Best to get the same lot #'s or buy a 8lb jug. I go as low as 3.3g with 147 precision molys out of my Trogan and still get 125 PF. To play it safe I may go to 3.5g. That's just me
