shooter995
I load a ton of 9MM, & sometimes my friends use my press, which means different bullet weight & shape. I'm really tired of trying to get back my perfect OAL. So I would like your opinions on who make the best Micro Adjust Die, & why! Thanks in advance. SLM
I have the Redding and the Hornady. They are very similar in operation but the Redding uses a spring in it to keep pressure on the bullet through the seating process. The Hornady uses a free sliding sleeve. I like both with a slight preference for the Redding. Both seat off the ogive of the bullet instead of the nose.
warpspeed
I have only ever used the Redding die but found it to be as advertised. It will definitely come back to where you had it. You can set it for your "normal" load and then re-zero the indicator. Change it from there but when you are done, put it back to zero and you are GTG. gng4life
I also use the Redding in 9mm and love it. When/If I start loading up more .40 in the future, I'll get one for that one also. Good luck...

RH45
I was occasionally getting slight bulges, on one side, even with new brass, like the bullets were trying to go in crooked, until I switched to Redding, competition, seating dies. Now, I use them for all my handgun calibers.
Jonathan Taliani
Another satisfied Redding CSD user. I've never tried the Hornady, but I've never had a reason to either.
