tagacali
Is there a single stack (10rd or less) magazine for Caspian Frames? I will be building a Caspian Gov't Race Ready Recon frame. Can you please make a suggestion who makes one and where I can get it. Thanks. Edited August 16, 2012 by tagacali
Anopsis
Not made by Caspian, but any single stack 1911 mag will do. I recommend Wilson ETMs or 47Ds. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
oak hill
You will most likely find a preference towards mags thicker extended basepads.
Smitty4313
My single stack .40 is built with a Caspian Race Ready frame, and I feed it bone stock Wilson 47D's. I don't mess with the feed lips, or tweak springs, or anything. I take 'em out of the bag, load 'em up, and shoot 'em! They run fantastic! KSwift
As everyone else has mentioned, Wilsons and Tripps are widely considered the two top dogs for 1911 mags. Personally, another vote for Wilson 47s. As for where to get them, if you have time, support your local gun store, special order through them. It may broaden their stocking inventory. I don't do anything to the 47s and they run perfectly in a .40.
