Frankl03
I hate the weather we have been having. I'm in the Midwest. We have had a heat wave that is just beginning to break. Up until this week the temps have been high 90s and low 100s every day. I hadn't been to the range in a long time so about 2 weeks ago I went just so I could fire a few rounds. It was soo hot I lasted about an hour and left. Our last local USPSA match the temp soared above 100 possibly 105. I just can't shoot in weather that hot. Now that it is cooling down 97 today but 70s later in the week I'm planning a trip to the range. Hot weather (with humidity) who needs it!
SiG Lady
We're right in the middle of a heat wave here in the Pacific Northwest--due to last two more days. That means it's headed east--in your direction. Now, I'll admit that it's not as bad HERE as where YOU are, but when it's 95-100 (or more, like it was a couple of weeks back) up here, we get miserable really quickly. Shadowrider
This is from last summer. Currently it shows a max 112.5°F. The wireless thermometer is on my patio, about 5' up off the ground and 36" under the eave on the north side of my house. It's never in the sun no matter what time of day and there is nothing around to reflect or radiate to jack with the reading. Yep, it's hot! Edit: I have totally wussed out of a couple of matches this month solely because of the heat. I'm ready for winter.
