JonF
I snapped my only pin last night reloading some 9mm and need to stock up. It seems they are different than the RCBS pins i had on hand so i couldn't really use them in a pinch either. Everywhere i look, a tiny baggie of pins costs $6 but a princely $10+ to ship. Eff that. I don't even need anything else form dillon to piggy back onto to make it worthwhile to ship and i'm not gonna just buy things i dont need. Any ideas? Jon, I can't believe you don't need anything from Dillon How about some primer tubes, spare parts for the reloader... MUST be something ... kevin c
I think I have a few spares, having never broken the original in my SDB. Just ask and I'll send you one. Cost to you: one small donation, amount of your choice, to BE.
MARKAVELI
Are all dillon decaping pins the.same say like I broke a pin from my dillon re sizer die to a 9mm pin, can I use the extra pin that I might have stored for my 45acp, or are they all different? Sorry not trying to take over thread..
JonF
I think all the pistol caliber die pins are the same. The rifle pins seem to be a different part though.

JonF
You are correct, but i do have some dillon dies and stuff too. their decapping dies are the bomb!
RePete
I don't use the Dillon decapping pins, I use Lyman. First you take a broken Dillon pin, remove the nub that was the pin from the barrel. Drop the Lyman pin in place, then the barrel from the Dillon pin and assemble as normal. The Lyman pin is smaller in diameter than the Dillon unit, they are cheaper and easier to find, plus they tend not to capture the spent primer and try to reseat it. wdlong1
Do like the rest of us and find 200 bucks of stuff when we really only needed to order 10 bucks of stuff!

twodownzero
I sent dillon an email and asked for one and they sent me two. Why buy them when they're covered by the warranty?
Hondo 60
Send an email or a call to RCBS. They sent me 5 pins & a new assembly. All for the princely sum of NOTHING - free.
