Reloading

Recommended Posts

I own a reloading store here in orlando. The biggest thing i here is that everyone is scared to reload or it is to dangerous to reload. Also i do not know anyone that can teach me the proper way to reload. In today's times with bullets cost going through the roof now is the time to start reloading so you can shoot more matches at a much lower cost. And you can make better bullets than you can buy off the shelf at the local wal-mart.So post your questions and i would be more than happy to guide you to the proper equipment and safe operation of your reloader.

My question to you would be how important is a crimp on a handgun round? I noticed the factory stuff .45acp is crimped .4710 consistent. When I crimp it I get a .0002 or .0003 deviation. So Im reading .4712 to .4713 am I being too picky or is that acceptable.

If you haven't already you had better get in touch with Brian as I think your thread is out of bounds for the forum. FWIW I would wager that there is already everything one needs to know about reloading right here on the forums already.

Being too picky, that is perfectly acceptable. (I bet most brass and bullets have tolerances outside of that variation)
