G35 Glockworx Fulcrum Trigger Issues

Acespeedy

Recommended Posts

I just installed the V2 ZT Fulcrum trigger in my G35. The trigger feels great, but I have an issue with it. While testing the function (dry-fire) if I press and hold the the trigger down and cycle the slide (reset trigger) the striker will drop if I release the trigger slowly. I haven't tried it with live ammo, but I suspect it will send another round downrange. I left the the pretravel and overtravel set from the factory setting. I'm running the lightened striker spring with a titanium firing pin and the plunger/spring that came with the kit.

I don't know where to start the adjustments or which springs to change, and any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

JG

Do yourself a BIG favor and call them tomorrow morning and they WILL set you up right.

My experience with Glockworx/Zev Tech is consistent with this. They have been fantastic to deal with.

I had the same problem a few days ago when I tried to limit the amount of over-travel. Three observations:

1) The trigger would drop as Acespeedy described when used with the Titanium pin in the "backstrap". Same happened with the longer (and equally tight-fitting) pin provided with the Grip Force adapter. With the factory pin, which sits in there more loosely, the trigger did work just fine with no danger of an accidental discharge. Since I really like the Grip Force adapter, the aforementioned setup is not an option, even though it works.

2) I had to allow a little more pre-travel than I like to solve the problem.

3) It didn't matter whether I adjusted the over-travel via the Fulcrum Trigger or a Lone Wolf ejector housing with a set screw. When I got the over-travel to where I wanted it to be, I had to back off (i.e. allow more) pre-travel or the trigger would act dangerously.

Is this a problem with the trigger itself (which I am quite happy with) or is it just not possible to adjust both pre- and over-travel to their minimum?
