DyNo!
I don't shoot USPSA seriously and I have a 6" 9mm 2011 in the works for multigun next year. I no longer have a need to load to major and I have several pounds of HS-6 sitting around. I like shooting 115gr bullets and my current charge is 4.6 grains of Solo 1000 behind a 115. Do you all think it's worth trying out? (I don't have the gun yet and that's why I haven't tested it) I figure the longer barrel will give the powder more time to burn with a minimum charge. Guest
Since you already have it, I'd say it is definitely worth trying. I've used WW540 (exact same powder as HS6) for steel loads in .38 super and like it a lot, used it primarily with 122gr and 135gr cast bullets but see no reason why it wouldn't work well with 115 grainers. Seems like I liked it better in the 130-145ish pf range (comped gun) and used ww452AA or WW231 for the real bunny fart loads.
