caveman
Apologies if this has been asked and answered. I wasn't sure how to ask the question. I checked the trouble shooting section in the guide book and searched the site... I have a new to me 650 that has loaded thousands of rounds of pistol(9 & 45). I set it up to load 223 as soon as I got it. After about 300 rounds loaded the press is getting stuck when the "case insert slide" impacts the "case feed arm". The "case feed arm" appears to have worn a grove in the "Case Insert Slide". I could still run the press if I give the case feed arm a little bump with my finger to get it started moving. Is this caused by some sort of improper setup on my part? Thanks, Jason
leemoe83
Do you have grease on the contact surface?
leemoe83
I think the case insert slide also gets rotated when switching to rifle calibers. Do you do this.
caveman
No, I didn't grease the slide. Yes, I did rotate the slide so the short side (rifle side per page 52 of the manual) is contacting the case feed arm.
