DoubleL
I'm planning on attending Nationals this October. I've been using Federal brand factory ammo exclusively through my SP-01 Shadow. It's cheap and my pistol seems to really like it. It's their 115 grain FMJ round nose. I do not have acces to a chronograph. What is the opinion on this ammo passing the chrono stage? Info I have found puts PF at about 131 for this stuff, mathematically. Some real world experience would help me greatly. GForceLizard
Fed. Am Eagle 115gr FMJ chrono'd 135+ PF from my G17. Shouldn't have any problem with that ammo.
Yagi
138-140PF using G17...
DoubleL
138 140? So... About 1220 FPS. I used 1140, I should have checked multiple sources for the velocity. Federal American Eagle. Are you referring to regular ole fed 115? Red box cheap stuff right? Thanks for replying, I don't know much about factory ammo. Sounds like unless my gun is drastically slow, I should be fine.
