New AR Upper

I received the last of my parts from Brownells for my new AR15 Upper:

Vltor Upper

BCM Vltor Charging handle

Failzero Bolt Carrier

JP Bolt

JP Barrel and Gas Block

Smith Hard Chrome Cam

DPMS firing pin

Handguard: 1 Carbon Fiber and 1 JP---can not decide which one.

My good friend Pat Miles, who posts here, took Derek's (Accuracy Speaks) class on the AR, so he will be either watching me or pushing me out of the way when I take it over to his home to put it together. It could happen this week.

I have a IOR scope being mounted so I might use this new puppy at RM3G next month. Depends on how many rounds I can get down range with it.

The lower is a Firebird Precision with JP parts which is dedicated to my Tactical Solution AR .22 at the moment. Gee, now I might have to built another lower for the TS.

I can not say enough good things about Brownells. They have done an incredible job - the JP Barrel and bolt was a special order. MarkCO was very helpful with the Carbon Fiber hand guard also.
