Sight tracker Reliability

Does anyone have any experience with problems with reliability and the Sight Tracker pistols. Just pertaining to the sight tracker barrels in general. Not poor build quality or things like that. I'm in the process of building a new limited gun and I want so insight on this set up and how well it runs. I'm not really interested in a flat shooting pistol that does not run reliably. Any insight on the matter would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I have an SVI sight tracker with 40K through it. It has both 9mm and .40 barrels and runs solid with either caliber. SVI is the original sight tracker builer so get one from them and you will experience the same happiness with your gun that I have with mine.

My duotone Sighttracker is over 60,000 since march of 2008 and runs and runs and runs and runs. And runs......Brandon does nice work. If you buy an SV Sight Tracker you won't be disapointed. The quality and craftsmenship are what set SV's apart. Once you get used to the different recoil pulse of the Sight Tracker compared to a traditional 1911, you won't ever want to go back to a traditional 1911. Just warning you now.

I have heard that about the sighttracker recoil. It's really addictive. Shay is building mine now. I'm really looking forward to shooting this new gun. My current rig is having issues and I hate to dump good money into a bad running gun. Thanks for the insight.

You told me the first two barrels each cracked the rib at the rear at around 25K rounds each and had to be replaced. I believe another shooter in the area experienced the same problem as well. R,
