Reshoot
I want to develop a load, this fall, for a 40 caliber 5" barrel with compensator. If you have any loads you can share, I would be most appreciative. I have been looking at the available 155 grain bullets and slow burning powders. Am I on the right track? gng4life
I don't shoot 40 Open (9Major for me) but there are a lot on here that do. The 155 and 135 bullets for 40 seem to be the most popular, which makes sense. Yes, using a slower powder will help work the comp and hopefully not spike in pressure. Here is a long thread about 40 Open guns and loads: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77956&st=0&p=902806entry902806

It is rather dated (January, 2009) so, I thought perhaps it is time to revisit the topic.
