cpa5oh
Anybody have any load information for Solo 1000 with a 125 gr lead bullet? Accurate's website says 2.9-3.7 grains...but even at 3.7 grains they show 1007 fps, which would just *barely* make minor power factor of 125. I loaded up and shot some 125's with 3.2 grains and they shot great - much softer than what I have been shooting (W231 4.2 grains.) Then again, I likely wasn't making power factor with this load, and when I get to a load making power factor, may not shoot as soft... Thanks! Torogi
I got to shoot a new load for my buddy over chrono 1 weekend ago. 124gr moly bullet, 1.130" OAL, G34, 1050-1080 FPS. Soft as heck, i know soft coz I shoot 147s. Now be warned that Solo1000 vary from batch to batch, so buy in bulk so you chrono less. Also it is temp sensitive. warm/hot=slow. Solo 1000 is great for cast bullets. If you are at 3.7 and getting 1007, just do 3.9 and you should be good

twodownzero
I usually load 4 grains with a 124 or 125 moly. I don't have any chrono data for it, sorry. It should make minor. I mostly shoot 147s (with 3.4-3.5), though.

DWFAN
I loaded about 3.9 grs with a 130gr lead bullet to get 130PF at 1.130". It's been a while. Thats close to where I would need to be. 3.7-3.8 with a 147 was my summer load. I had a pretty slow lot.

I think it was hot that day. It is normally on 128-129PF.
98sr20ve
I talked to Accurate a while back. Basically you can load Solo 1000 with 124 gr or heavier bullets to the needed 130ish Power Factor. Just load as long as your bullet allows. Chrono it and work it up. The lot variations are what are catching some of you guys out but pressure is speed (assuming the same powder) so if you have a slow lot just work it up with a little more powder. I have loaded everything from 124gr to 160 gr lead using this process with no issues.

mike l m
Do not know if this helps, I use a 124 jacketed round nose in a glock 19, using Solo 1000. 4.0 grains. oal is the same as WWB 9mm 124. The powder charge is almost compressed. Good luck, Mike
Wilkenstein
I load 4.3 grains of a slow lot behind a 125 grain lead bullet from velocity bullets. 130pf. I've found that if you compress s1k a little it becomes extremely consistent. I load to 1.13" OAL

I went all the way to 4.5 then backed up to about 4.1 again. My OAL is about 1.15......
