gunguru
I will begin relaoding soon, and the the professional at the shop give me his “always good recipe”, what do you think about it? CZ SP01 Shadow 9mm Luger (CCI Brass) Winchester primer Berry’s 124 gr HP Titegroup 4gr OAL 1.120 According to him I should expect something around 1050 fps, giving a PF of about 130. What do you think I should expect from a such load, any comment?
The_Vigilante
The OAL of 1.120 may be a bit long for the Shadow. Make sure you barrel check that OAL before you load a bunch of them.
SevoTT
I found that these bullets were finicky to get to work. I needed an OAL from 1.06-1.10 for them to feed in my various 1911, 2011, M&Ps. Gave up on them because I found them to be far from "always good" across different pistols. Had much better luck with the Berry's 124 HBRN-TP with 4.0 TG and a 1.15 OAL gave a PF of 126-131.
