leam
Trying to plan CM 99-02. I'm a D class shooter trying to step up my game a little. On this one there's a "sit at the table", get up, 2 at a close target and 1 each at far targets. Three strings, #2 is SHO and #3 is WHO. Many recommend going from one side to another so that you don't traverse the same space more than once. However, with the closer target being the only one to get 2 shots per string, it seems like my level would be better taking care of round count. Thoughts? Any other suggestions on doing the stage better? Leam Edited July 1, 2012 by leam

Skydiver
Unless you have very old eyes that can't transition to different distances quickly, it is more efficient to sweep left-to-right or right-to-left depending on whether you are shooting freestyle, strong, or weak hand to minimize movement. Poppa Bear
Honestly take your time shooting it. 1__1__2__1__1 The difference between a D or C HF is more based on hits than time. The HF for a B or better run becomes more of a time thing while getting the hits. At all classes a Mike, a No Shoot, or the best a No Shoot/Mike combo will kill your HF. So take the time needed to get your hits first, a rushed missed shot will cost you WAY more than saving .1 seconds on your splits or transitions will gain you. Second try to get some range time in practicing your Strong Hand and Weak Hand skills. Most people do well shooting the freestyle part and then tank it with Mikes and No Shoots on the strong hand and weak hand strings.
