zhunter
Yes, I went 2 1/2 years without firing a round, correct, NO practice or matches at all. I shot a local night match last night. Surprised myself with a nearly clean match, dropped a Mike in the last stage Shot 2 stages 1 for 1 on steel (only two stages had steel) and hit the two swingers with no make-up shots. My wife says I wasted all that money and time practicing in the past, told me I shoot better with no practice I was surprised at my performance The first stage was a blurr, did not see my sights much, but the hits were great It was awesome to shoot again. Chris Keen
A good woman can make you see things you never even knew existed. I knew when you announced you were getting married, by the way you talked, you had found a great woman. I'm sure she has kept you very busy in the last 2 1/2 yrs. Welcome back!!! Thanks Chris Yes, she is great, but it has been my daughter who has kept me from shooting, her tennis habit is VERY expensive, and has used up ALL of my disposable income the past few years. I hope to slowly start up to a semi regular schedule again, but work takes me out of the country for about 20 weeks a year, so it is tough. And, I no longer have a place to practice, as the range nazi's took over the local range, which was also a factor in my stopping shooting.
