sbgruen
hey does anyone care to post their stage times for MA in SSR? I have about 4-5 seconds to trim somewhere and would like to get an idea of what Master Class SSR are running so I can focus on my weakness.... which I am guessing is Stage 3. Thanks Scott
MrBorland
Scott - Generally, if you shot the classifier well (doesn't necessarily mean "master"), stage 3 will represent 40% of your total, and stages 1 & 2 30% each (my experience is that stage 2 is slightly faster than stage 1). Total points down should, IMO, ideally kept in the 10 - 12% range. For MA SSR (102.35 sec or less), then, here's one breakdown: Stage 1 = 28 seconds + 2 PD = 29 seconds Stage 2 = 26 seconds + 3PD = 27.5 seconds Stage 3 = 36 seconds + 15PD = 43.5 seconds total = 90 seconds + 20PD = 100 seconds FWIW, when I classified MA in SSR, I squeaked in with the following: Stage 1 = 29.52 Stage 2 = 29.02 Stage 3 = 41.64 total = 100.18 Working hard on stage 3 usually pays the biggest dividends. If it takes up much more than 40%, it's unlikely you'll be able to shoot stages 1 & 2 good enough to make up for it. Good luck - Tom
sbgruen
Thanks Tom. I am running about 16-17 sec on Stage 3 string 1 and 2 and figure that is were I need the most work. Like to get it down to 14-15 sec with of course minimal points down. scott
lugnut
Stage 1 2.41 2.43 2.39 5.16 3.85 8.08 5.1 Points down 8 33.42s Stage 2 4.51 4.4 10.19 5.2 Points down 5 26.80s Stage 3 14.72 15.42 5.85 Points down 8 39.99s Total 100.21s This was my first Master run. Like Tom says, Stage 3 will give you the most return. I had a rough run on stage one (missed head shot), but shooting stage 3 well helped for sure. sbgruen
Thanks Lugnut - the actual string times are great for checking individual times. Dave - That is pretty quick! That would be the ultimate goal though. Thanks a bunch Guys Scott
