Line from a song stuck in my head:

Remember When, the sound of little feet

Was the music we danced to week to week

Brought back the love

We found trust

Vowed we'd never give it up

Remember When

Remember When

Thirty seemed so old

Now lookin' back

It was just a steppin' stone

To where we are

To where we've been

Said we'd do it all again

Remember When

Alan Jackson..... :) ..........damn, wish I had said that...

Mary had a little lamb, a little lamb, a little lamb.

Mary had a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow.

Row row row your boat gently down the stream,

merrily merrily merrily merrily

life is but a dream

HA - Get those outta your head!

Remember When

We said, when we turned grey

When the children

Grow up and move away

We won't be sad

We'll be glad

For all the Life we've had

and We'll Remember When

Remember When

Last stanza, Mr. Jackson....damn, he's good ;)

There are people in your life

who've come and gone.

They let you down,

you know they hurt your pride.

You better put it all behind you, baby

'cause life goes on.

You keep carryin' that anger,

it'll eat you up inside.

Don Henley, "The Heart of the Matter"

I think I'm losing it ... I can't get the tune of "Killing Me Softly" out of my head, but it's playing through my brain with the words from the theme song to "Good Times!"

Rhino, you B@$t@*D!

That "Killing me softly" Line.....AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! :o

It makes the slinky song so much more palatable.

As my son grew older and was about to make his way into the world:

And when you finally fly away

I'll be hoping that I served you well

For all the wisdom of a lifetime

No one can ever tell

But whatever road you choose

I'm right behind you, win or lose

Forever Young, Forever Young

Rod Stewart- Last verse of "Forever Young"
