promod1385 Posted June 5, 2012 Share Posted June 5, 2012 Anyone have a load worked up for there X5 they would like to share? I have 115gr and 124gr RN plated projectiles on hand. I am also considering some 124gr HP's. I have AA#7, Titegroup, and Unique on hand for powders. I have heard these X5 barrels can be tight and it may effect velocity a bit so the load I am currently using to make Minor in my XD may not make minor in the X5. The gun is quite a bit heavier than my XD does this extra weight in the slide sap power from the gun? Thanks in advance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
huskerlrrp Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 I got really accurate groups from 7.7gr of AA#7 behind a Montana Gold Hollow point. #7 leaves some little brown soot on the internals, but always ran fine.
