Lubecktech
I am considering a 9mm longslide conversion kit for my .45 steel frame witness. Can anyone tell me how much fitting might be needed? I have read that magazines might be problematic and certain ones might need shims and/or bullets seated to a particular O.A.L. which is not a problem. Nealio
No problems with mags any more, OAL shouldn't matter.
10mmjunkie
Issues with changing OAL mainly go with people who shoot 40 S&W out of 10mm mags. Have not heard of any one having such issues with 9mm. As to fitting the upper to your frame most people have zero issues. I have three different top ends for my hunter and all have shot wonderfully (accurate and reliable) with no modification what so ever. Only issue I ever had was with the old style mags. Best wishes on your project. 10mmjunkie
