uscbigdawg
james h, Quitting a job is an incredibly euphoric and near zen experience. Freedom is a beautiful thing. I'm assuming that you have something else going on. Whatever that is, God speed and best of luck! Rich

warpspeed
james h - you are a brave man. If I were to have done that, my wife would kick my ass out the front door so fast it would make your head spin I recently did the same ( quit my job) but had somewhere else to go first. Good luck. Kingman
I always use dialup. Just put my plan into effect. Putting my two week notice in after the Tri state championship. Going to be quitting by the mid atlantic. Sig you and I will be working on something soon.
SiG Lady
I resigned a more-or-less useless little part-time job in late April and boy, did it feel good. Nearly three years of, well, doing not much and making zero dollars. It took me a MONTH to get used to the freedom (I had plenty of other things to do, that's for sure), but I managed. Some job resignations in the past have been sheer health and sanity savers. There are occasionally just some people that aren't safe or healthy to work for, and THOSE are the ones you want to run screaming from a.s.a.p. I've also had my share of jobs that fell out from under me thru absolutely no fault of my own. THOSE were the ones that were psychologically damaging, not the ones I resigned from. As a friend of mine often said, "It's a wiggly world out there." That's for damn sure.
