diehli
What is the law say about bringing high caps and "assault pistols" as a out of state person in CA? Not this again........... Bill, We beat this horse to death a while ago - search and ye shall find. but to summarize- You can bring a handgun/shotgun/rifle (inc an AR) into CA for sporting/competition but it has to leave with you. Have match info handy just in case you are questioned. However, you cannot bring high cap ( >10 rd ) mags. Or so the law is written....... What he said. BSeevers
Sorry I didn't beat that horse. Just asking a question about a possible felony? Seems like a CA only match since it would be a challenge to say the least to shoot Open/Limited with a 10 rd mag against 28/21 rd mags. The Infinity is usually a very good match. Maybe we could share? PS It says Stock Gun Match Is it a Limited/Production only match too.
diehli
Your guess is as good as mine. Info is severely lacking.

[Attorney hat on] By the book you cannot. [Attorney hat off] However, if the 'owner' is immediately present it's not a problem. Exemptions are for law enforcement and military personnel. That being said, there is always L-10 and Production. From the sounds of the match, it may be a L-10/Production match only to begin with eliminating the concern for hi-cap mags (which is my guess as SV is pretty well on the stick when it comes to the laws in CA). Hope that helps. Rich
