How do you reload SG while prone?

I've recently (yesterday ) decided to become predominantly a weakhand reloader. In the Reno 3G Nationals one of the stages pretty much required you to load while you were on your belly.

Stage 3 Pistol

In the tunnel I laid on my left side to free my right (stronghand) and reloaded off of my sidesaddle.

What did/do you guys do? What hand do you mainly reload with?

piece of cake...rolled to left side, grabbed tec loader from pouch, awkwardly guided it to it's final resting place and finished off the final 4 poppers...

RS, if your shooting in Limited....the key to that stage was to roll to the strong hand side while grabbing shells from the belt and stuffing with the weak hand. Read the article in Front Site, a few issues ago on T. Butler reloads.

AHH! Another convert who has seen the light! Amen brother Religious shooter! Although GMW2B gave the "Readers Digest version" he is right! It isn't any problem to roll slightly onto the right hand side, grab 3-4 shells from the good old Choate loader and then load them into the shotgun as usual..for weak hand loading. I have yet to try a position ( shooting wize) that you can't use weak hand loading in. Prone, sitting, kneeling, standing, even hanging upside down. I like to keep the gun at the shoulder, as it cuts out dismounting and remounting time that can be better used reloading! KURTM

Listen to Kurt and gmw2b. I RO'ed both of these guys and as hard as I looked I couldn't find the autoloading attachment that Kurt Miller was using to load his shotgun that fast .
